Clusterio is an open-source server framework for Factorio that links multiple game
servers together into a single "cluster". It adds shared storage and resource
transfer across server boundaries, so items you produce on one shard can be
deposited into a shared pool and withdrawn on any other shard. This enables
large-scale player cooperation that wouldn't be possible on a single server.
Join our Discord server first —
server addresses, shard listings, and the required modpack link are posted there.
Once you have the modpack installed, open Factorio, go to
Multiplayer → Connect to address, and enter the address for the shard you
want to join. See the full Event Details page for
step-by-step instructions.
The required version will be announced before the event starts. Check the Discord
#announcements channel or the Event Details
page once it has been finalised. Make sure your game client matches the server
version exactly, or you won't be able to connect.
Yes. Clusterio requires a client-side mod to communicate with the cluster backend.
A complete modpack will be provided before the event — you can install it via the
Factorio in-game mod portal or by manually placing the files in your mods folder.
Do not install any additional mods beyond the provided pack unless explicitly
approved by admins.
Dates are TBD and will be announced in the Discord. Join the server and enable
notifications in #announcements so you don't miss it.
The event will run for a fixed window; all progress resets after it ends.
Yes! The servers remain open for the full duration of the event. You can join at
any time, even days after the start, and immediately contribute to the shared
cluster goal. Coordinate with other players in Discord to see where help is most
needed.
This is a temporary event — all saves and cluster data are specific to this run.
When the event ends the servers close and no saves are carried forward. If you
want to keep a copy of your personal shard save, download it before the event ends.
Announcements about end-of-event archival will be made in Discord.
Yes. Click the Join Discord button at the top right of any page,
or use this invite link.
The Discord is the primary place for announcements, team coordination, technical
support, and general chat.
The live map is available via the Map link
in the navigation bar. It updates periodically and shows player positions,
explored territory, and base footprints across all shards. A Grafana dashboard
is also available for detailed production and flow statistics.
Eternity Cluster is organised by a small team of community volunteers. You can
reach the admins directly in the Discord
server. If you'd like to help run future events, ask in the Discord.
